“If baptism in the Holy Spirit: Jubilee Edition is to be a lasting grace, there must be a commitment to practices that build a strong spiritual life. Just as in the early Church, these include teaching, fellowship, the sacraments, and prayer. (ICCRS, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, page 89) Growing in the Spirit also includes yielding to and exercising charisms, and living maturely manifesting the fruits of the Holy Spirit (see Gal 5:13-26, especially vs. 22, 25- 26) “The fruits of the Spirit are perfections that the Holy Spirit forms in us as the first fruits of eternal glory.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1832).
